Jeff studied Exercise Science and Kinesiology at the University of Maryland, College Park. After earning a BS in Kinesiology at College Park in 1990, Jeff studied Physical Therapy at New York University where he received his second BS in Physical Therapy in 1992. Jeff has had an extensive clinical background including inpatient rehab, wound care, industrial medicine, and orthopedics very early in his career. Later in his career, Jeff has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, sports medicine, and geriatrics. Jeff has had sport specific specialty training for soccer and golf enhancement as well as core training principles. Utilizing core stabilization techniques, Jeff has successfully treated a wide range of patients, including professional, collegiate, high school, and recreational athletes in a variety of sports. He frequently likes to utilize these techniques not only with competitive athletes, but the weekend-warriors and the sedentary. Jeff specializes in knee & shoulder rehabilitation, using the latest evidence-based therapeutic exercise programs. Professionally, Jeff has been a successful Director of multiple clinics in a corporate environment from 1994 until 2007. It is at this time when he and his wife Nancy decided to leave the corporate world and open Sport & Family Physical Therapy. In his spare time, Jeff is an avid Ravens, Orioles and Terps fan. He loves to cook and be a homebody in Woodbine, Maryland with his wife Nancy and their four children.
